  • Side walking

Other

  • Assisting Instructors
  • Fundraising

Requirements
Unfortunately, becoming a volunteer is not open to everyone. Each volunteer must meet the following requirements and qualifications to ensure the safety and efficiency of our organization:
  • Must be 14 years old or older to work with horse and rider in the arena
  • Must be dependable, able to make commitment
  • Must have reliable means of transportation
  • Must enjoy working with people with handicaps
  • Must be in reasonably good health, able to walk for 30 minutes and jog a minimum of 100 yards
  • Must attend volunteer orientation training

Time Commitment
The amount of time you commit to our program is up to you. However, once you have decided the amount of time you can give us, we expect you to be reliable and dependable. We ask that you show up 15 minutes prior to your scheduled lesson time to assist the rider with helmet, gathering tack, etc. Everyone counts on you to be there!
